Priit Ojama

Mr. Priit Ojama, is Project officer at the eGovernment Unit of the DG Information Society and Media, European Commission. Since 2006 he has been project officer of the EC for eGovernment research projects including the ICING project www.fp6-project-icing.eu/

Previously, he held roles in other European organisations including the European Parliament, and has been Director of Central and Eastern European Relations for the European Landowners Association, and counsellor of the Estonian Government and member of diplomatic staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia. As Chair of the morning session of this conference his introduction provides a general overview of the implementation of eGovernment services in Europe.
